The Let's R.E.A.D. book club will be meeting on Monday, January 11, 2010 to discuss "The Shack" by WM. Paul Young
This federally funded program is designed to encourage family reading. Programs are held at least three times per year to help families learn that reading is fun. Activities include: arts & crafts, games, guest readers, contests, snacks and a FREE book for each child (0-17) in attendance. After every distribution children have another book to add to their home library.
The Library Board of Trustees meet the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. at the Carnegie Technology Center located on 420 Heber Ave. Calexico, CA
The Library offers after school activities Monday-Friday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. for children 5 to 12 years old.
A FREE snack is available for children 18 years old and younger from 3:00-4:00 p.m
